To put just a little salt in the wound our neighbors re-seeded two sections of their lawn themselves (we hired someone) and theirs looks AWESOME and PERFECT! UGH. SO ANNOYING!

Yard Work
I love yard work, I love being outside, but I really don't like just sitting there. So a good outdoor project is always appreciated. In saying that I will say that yesterday I got so frustrated I ended up yelling at Jared across our lawn saying "I'm DONE!" (not that I had completed a task, but instead that I was so tired of dealing with it I just quit), throwing down part of our mower on the ground and walking away. We have an area in our backyard known as "The Weed Pit" - when we bought the house it was a nice playground type area with awesome rubber woodchips. When we moved in 90% of the rubber woodchips were GONE and it looked a little pathetic. This area is about 1000 SF - bigger then any place Jared and I had lived previous to our current home. Slowly is started to just be a pit filled with outrageously HUGE weeds. Last year we started ripping things out of there, put down weed killer with the hopes that this summer we would just seed the area over. Presently there are TONS of WEEDS in the pit apparently mixed in with grass seed, only there are SOOO many weeds I don't think the grass can even see the light of day. So I decided to mow the weed pit. It turned into a HUGE Weed salad and was really wet and gooey and got stuck all over our mower - and in the bagger. So then the rest of the time mowing the lawn every two laps I had to detatched the bagger, clean it out, reattach it, just to do the same thing 1 minute later. (I say I had to - I mowed but Jared did all the dirty work). On top of that all I can think of is all the money we wasted paying for GRASS....which isn't there. UGH, so the mower clogged a final time, I took off the bagger threw it on the ground and finished mowing with out it. Then I went to pick it up and reattach it and it kept falling off at which point I threw it on the ground and yelled "I'm DONE!"
